White clothing can retain even after washing, or even slightly yellowish spots are. However, there is a very simple way to get back pieces of white linen spotless clean and white, which does not require much work.

Just put the clothes into a large container with cold water. Cold water works better than hot water. Add some liquid detergent and a little bit of bleach. Liquid detergent dissolves better in cold water than powder.
Knead the laundry around until the detergent is well distributed in the water.
Now you let the laundry soak overnight in the water so the dirt can break away from the fibers. Ideal is 6 to 10 hours of soaking.
The next day, you can just put the clothes into the washing machine and run a normal wash. If you have only white clothes in the machine, you can still give a little bleach in the detergent compartment. The laundry should now properly come out white again.
